The foundation seeks to make a meaningful impact through supporting grants and funding opportunities, and continued support of education, research, and outreach opportunities. Scholarships and Initiatives
The IIDA TX OK Chapter tuition reimbursement, study abroad scholarship, and special initiatives grant are available to Interior Design students and educators within Texas or Oklahoma. Students who are applying must be graduate students or undergraduates in their 3rd and 4th years at a CIDA accredited university. View and apply for these opportunities here.

VP of Campus Centers- 2023 - 2024 IIDA TX OK CHAPTER BOARD
Emma Smith, RID, IIDA, WELL AP
Emma is currently an Architectural Representative at Daltile. She earned her B.S. in Interior Design with a minor in Architectural Studies from the University of Oklahoma. She has practiced as a Commercial Interior Designer in years prior, focusing on all market sectors including, corporate, healthcare, education, higher education, multi-family and more. Emma attended SHIFT as a student and has served on the committee the following years after graduation. She is a past Co-Chair and Chair of the SHIFT Conference in 2022 and 2023.
Emma is a Registered Interior Designer in Texas (RID), a NCIDQ certificate holder, a professional member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), a WELL Accredited Professional for the International WELL Building Institute (WELL AP) and a member of the OU Interior Design Professional Advisory Board. Emma’s day to day role is to work hand and hand with designers to help fulfill their project needs through materiality, functionality, and sustainability. For IIDA, she will continue to work with the Campus Centers throughout the Chapter to engage with students to encourage participation and interaction within the IIDA TX OK Chapter.
